Located in Casas Adobes Plaza, this former Millie’s Pancake House had pineapple wallpaper, orange shag carpeting, and a dropped ceiling. We recreated the space into a warm, almost masculine interior, with checkerboard marmoleum flooring + vintage French posters nodding to the French side of the menu + galvanized metal on the bar surround and teak barstools nodding to the seafood side of the menu. The upstairs was designed with custom, movable 48″ wide booth seating to enable multiple variations of furniture layout for different occasions.
The “booze-a-lier” light fixture were custom designed by Studio Encanto Design out of necessity as the middle-of-the-space inside/outside floor plan for the bar necessitated storage for the liquor.
